3-5 years: Hello Piano! Ball pit! Little figures on the keys... I can do it!
6-9 years: It's all magic! Geri and Ferdi. Little concerts... I dare!
10-13 years: Real literature, cool pieces, projects, trips, successes in competitions... I'm strong!
14-18 years: Studying music or as a lifelong hobby, supporting younger talents... I'm a role model!

Criteria for "Good Piano Lessons"

Is your musical talent “in good hands”? Important indicators of the quality of piano lessons:

  • Qualified, motivated, and talented instructors who are still active musicians
  • High level of commitment, keen insight into the individual structure of the student’s talent
  • The classroom facilities are high-quality, ideally with two upright pianos or two grand pianos per room—
  • an electric piano is unsuitable for high-quality piano lessons (!)
  • Emphasis is placed on teaching excellent and correct technique
  • Teaching of sheet music and basic theory
  • Sufficient original repertoire is taught—essential for technical development
  • A well-designed method book is used, not “loose-leaf collections”
  • Opportunities for group music-making are available
  • Competition preparation and concert performances are possible
  • There is a warm and caring atmosphere, naturally while respecting boundaries
  • The child/teenager feels confident and at ease
  • Preparation for higher education or early university studies is possible
  • Advanced students have the opportunity to get involved (mentoring, assignments)
  • There are sufficient projects for particularly gifted students
  • Foot pedal benches are available; these are indispensable for the youngest students
  • We cordially invite you to experience exactly this kind of instruction with us.
